Artists from Latin America are interested to participate in the international exhibition26.11.2010

The organizing committee is still working on the international project “In Family Unity – Unity of the World”. The organizing committee carries on correspondence with new sculptors and photographers every day. Artists from the countries that haven’t participated in the international exhibition before, show their interest and wish to take part in the international project.

The topic of the exhibition inspires and touches every artist. For example, a sculptor from Colombia Carlos Restrero wrote to the organizing committee that he is very interested to participate in the international project as “The family topic is a social value and is very urgent. The family topic – is a cultural development for sculptors and photographers.”

Artists from Latin America send us their submissions everyday. Many of them inquire about Yekaterinburg, our country and Russian culture. Miguel Benchin, a photographer from Uruguay told us that the idea of the project aroused his enthusiasm for several reasons: “Firstly, the topic of the exhibition – because a united family means love, peace and hope for a better future. Being a father of children from 5 to 39 years old and working a pediatrician I understand how important a united family is. Secondly, I’m inspired by the fact that my grandfather was born in a beautiful city of Saint-Petersburg and I can proudly say that I have Russian blood”

Dear artists! We invite you to take part in the international project. If you wish to show your artworks, your understanding of the family topic and your vision of the family values, please submit your images of your works to family-expo@exf.ru
